The folkloristic group "I Fieramosca" was formed in Barletta at the end of the 1990’s. It consists of about 70 elements, including Flag Wavers, Musicians, Extras, Fire-eaters, Stilt-walkers, Jugglers and Swordsmen.

"I Fieramosca" have participated in numerous historical processions from the 1500’s, processions in honour of Frederick, festivals, and patronal competitions and festivals. They have also taken part in local and national television programmes.

With spectacular entertainment and the beauty of costumes from the 1500’s, accompanied by the roll of the drums and the blast of the trumpets, "I Fieramosca" contribute to the creation of a climate of jubilee and festival every time they appear, underlining the ancient military origins of the event.
